About Providence Pediatric Functional Medicine
Pediatric experience.
A more thoughtful kind of care.
Providence was created to give families something increasingly difficult to find: pediatric care with time to listen, room to investigate, and the flexibility to look beyond a single symptom when a child needs more.
Care built around the child—not the clock
Traditional pediatric medicine remains an essential part of care. Functional medicine adds another lens when symptoms are persistent, recurrent, complex, or simply have not made sense yet.
Grounded in pediatrics
Clinical experience guides every evaluation, from a focused sick visit to ongoing pediatric concerns.
Willing to look deeper
When appropriate, nutrition, lifestyle, environment, history, and targeted testing become part of the picture.
Created with families
Parents are heard, questions are welcomed, and plans are built collaboratively—not handed down without explanation.
Why Providence began
After years in high-volume healthcare settings, Nicole founded Providence to create the kind of pediatric practice she believes families deserve.
Some children need straightforward treatment. Others need someone to slow down, reconsider the history, connect patterns, and keep adjusting the plan as new information emerges. Providence makes room for both.
Experience matters. So does listening.
Families should leave with more than a list of instructions. They should understand what we are considering, why the plan makes sense, and what comes next. That clarity—and the relationship behind it—is central to care at Providence.
